Creating a new application

AppBasic's 'Make' tool

New applications are very easily created by selecting AppBasic's ‘Make’ tool which pops up a standard ‘Save’ dialogue box; see the figure above. Just give the new application a name and drag to a Filer display in the usual way.

When an application is created it becomes the current application with its icon displayed in the AppBasic window. When run, a new application places its icon on the iconbar from where it can be quit via its iconbar menu.
